Realme, the dedicated smartphone brand for the young generation has unveiled its latest smartphone called Realme 3. We came across multiple leaks and rumours of the device in the past couple of days and today the company has made everything official. Design of Realme 3

The smartphone features pretty clean design, it has a glossy finish unibody and has 3D gradient colour setup on the rear. Overall, the device will give an amazing design in your hand along with a premium touch.

The all new Realme 3 sports a 6.2 inch HD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio along with a waterdrop like notch which the company calls Dewdrop. The smartphone is powered by 2.1 GHz 12 nm MediaTek Helio P70 processor along with Mali-G72 MP3, and paired 3 GB and 4 GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the device will be available in two storage variants – 3 GB RAM with 32 GB internal storage and 4 GB RAM with 64 GB of internal storage. The Realme 3 also comes with a dedicated slot for the MicroSD card and that will allow you to expand the storage upto 256 GB.

Furthermore, the company has implemented artificial intelligence in the device and that will give users more power in this device. The company has also developed the smartphone by keeping the gamers in the mind, as the smartphone has the ability to run the powerful smartphones without losing the graphics effect and gives smooth performance. Moreover, the company has also demonstrated the Free Fire game experience on the stage and showcased the smothness, and users who play the game can able to win the Realme 3 for free of cost, simply by playing the game and contest will start from March 31st, 2019.

Moving to the camera department, the Realme 3 rocks a dual camera set up at the rear side and that’s in the combination of 13 MP (f/1.8)+ 2 MP (f/2.4) with Bokeh effect, multi-frame noise reduction, and hybrid HDR, and AI Scene Recognition, along with a 13 MP front facing camera with f/2.0 larger aperture. The company has also added some cool features in the camera department, Realme 3 has a Chroma Boost feature, which improves dynamic range when shooting backlit subject, along with the Nightscape, which takes a long exposure shot to improve details on low-light photos.

For security, the device supports the fingerprint scanner along with other traditional security options in the device. The Realme 3 also comes with the ‘Ride Mode’ and that will help the users to go on the road without any distractions. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone supports dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The smartphone will run on the new ColorOS 6 based on Android 9 Pie, the company has done a great job with its own skin of the operating system. With the new ColorOS, users will get the app drawer which is one of the important factors for any smartphone user interface, the company will also offer you big icons in the notification panel. Furthermore, the company has also announced that all the Realme smartphones will get the latest software update. Finally, the complete package will be backed on 4,230 mAh battery and that comes with smart battery Optimisation which will give good battery life to the users.

Pricing and availability of Realme 3

The 3 GB RAM variant is priced at ₹8,999 and the 4 GB RAM variant will cost ₹10,999, and the device will be available from March 12 through Flipkart.

However, the device is cannot be said as a budget smartphone because it gives a mid-range package.
