The Realme 6 series is going to launch on 5th march via an online only event, because of Coronavirus. Till date we have seen many teasers and leaks regarding the same. So we have an idea about the specifications of the smartphones under this series. But today we got a new piece of information which is very important, if you are planning your budget for any specific model in this series. So let’s get into the same.
Francis Wang (CMO, Realme India) announced today that the Realme 6 is not going to be the successor of Realme 5. Instead it will be the successor of Realme 5 Pro. He announced it with a tagline ‘6 is the new Pro’. This comes as a sudden change in line-up, and that’s because of pricing. Though they didn’t said it directly, but low import from China due to Coronavirus is affecting the price of these smartphones. It will give many speculations to the public. For example, it’s still a question that will we see Realme 6 Pro or not? Also as it’s done because of price point of view, what about the successor to the Realme 5?
So that’s all the information we have as of now. Personally I think the Realme C line-up will cover the Realme 5 successor. And there will be no Realme 6 Pro as well. But I might get wrong here. So what are your thoughts and expectations from Realme after taking this step? Let us know in the comment section below. Also stay tuned with us for more information.
