After lots of teasers and leaks, Realme 8 5G is officially introduced in the market of Thailand and the company will launch the smartphone in India tomorrow. It will be the first smartphone of the Indian market with the power of the MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor and the latest smartphone similar to the Realme V13 smartphone which was recently introduced in the market of China. Specifications of Realme 8 5G

The newly unveiled Realme 8 5G features a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a punch-hole setup and the same also offers a 90Hz refresh rate, along with a 180Hz touch sampling rate, and 600nits brightness. The smartphone is powered by Dimensity 700 chipset and coupled with 4/6GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the phone comes in 64/128 GB internal storage and there is a dedicated MicroSD card slot which means you can able to expand the storage. It is worth mentioning that the smartphone comes with the Dynamic RAM Expansion Technology to virtually make 4GB RAM perform better.

The camera module placed on the backside of the Realme 8 5G features a 48-megapixel main snapper, a 2-megapixel depth assist lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera with a 4cm focal length. It has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Regarding the connectivity options, the device supports 5G SA/ NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, 3.5mm headphone jack GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, and USB Type-C. The device is coming with a big 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging and it runs on Realme UI 2.0 based Android 11 OS.

The price of the smartphone start at 9,999 baht and the device will available in the Thailand market from May 4.
