After the long wait, Realme has launched its first fitness tracker and the device is dubbed as the Realme Band. The device is coming with really cool features and India specific features as well. The newly announced Realme Band features a 0.96-inch TFT LCD colour display, but the same is not a touchscreen. There’s capacitive touch button below the display to control the device.
Talking about the button, a single touch on the button will allow you to scroll through all the menu options and the long-pressing will bring various actions such as exercise mode, call hang-up, and more. Moreover, the fitness tracker also comes with the pre-loaded five watch faces and that be applied via the Realme Link app. It is worth noting that the company will bring more watch faces via OTA updates.
Regarding the features, Realme Band is capable to serve notifications, alarms, water drinking as well as sedentary reminders, among others. The device also allows rejecting a phone call straight from your wrist.
The device is also loaded with many fitness features and also has nine sport modes which include India specific Cricket mode, along with yoga, running, walking, hiking, climbing, cycling, spinning, fitness. Having said that, the band allows pinning any three of them as favorites.
Furthermore, the device also supports a heart rate sensor and that will monitor the heart rate in real-time at 5-minute intervals, along with accelerometer, and gyroscope on board. The device also supports sleep monitor, and the same also has the IP68 rating, which will provide water and dust resistance.
Realme Band is also coming with the USB Direct Charge feature and that makes the charging easy as users can simply detach the strap of the wearable and plug the device directly into a USB-A port. The device ships on a 90 mAh battery and Realme claims to serve 9 days on a single charge.
In terms of pricing and availability, the latest Realme Band is priced at ₹1,499 and it will be available for purchase from 9th March.
