Realme was in the hot seat for the past few days as it was supported that the company is obtaining the data of a user with a feature dubbed Enhanced Intelligent Services. The Union Minister of Electronics and Technology has also said that the government will investigate on the same and verify.
The company seems to avoid the problems with this feature, as the Chinese smartphone brand has rolled out a new update for the newly announced Realme 11 Pro and 11 Pro Plus smartphones.
Realme has updated the devices with firmware version RMX3771_13.1.0.524(EX01) and RMX3741_13.1.0.524(EX01). It is improving system stability and also optimizes the power consumption of the camera.
The company has also made changes with the description of the “Enhanced Intelligent Services” feature. The feature is also disabled by default as well.
The description now reads that the feature focuses solely on improving the user experience by analyzing device usage patterns. The company is also saying that it is now using local data and app usage statistics directly on the device.
