After all the leaks, rumours, and teasers, the popular Chinese brand Realme has officially launched the Realme GT 5 in the market of China. The device is coming with heavy specifications along with an impressive designing language. The company is offering the device with 24 GB of RAM on the board along with a 240W fast charging solution. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile processor. Designing language of Realme GT 5
The smartphone brand has collaborated with BYD Electronisc for the ‘Miracle Glass‘ on the back panel of the device and the same features a dual-tone along with a large camera module. The device features a visor-like camera module and the camera module features two rings for the cameras on the left while the right side includes rectangular-shaped LED light strips that will be offering different colors and a transparent glass window that showcases the logo of Snapdragon mobile processor.

The smartphone features a 6.74-inch OLED display along with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It features a punch-hole set up at the centre position of the screen and the device features an independent X7 display chip which is developed by PixelWords. This particular chipset will offer an improved visual experience and the device offers 1400 nits of peak brightness. The device sports 2160 PWM dimming along with 1.46mm narrow bezels, and it features a 93.7 percent screen-to-body ratio.
Under the hood, the newly announced Realem GT 5 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile processor along with up to 24GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. This device is available with two distinct battery variants including a larger 5,240mAh battery with 150W fast charging technology and there is another variant that comes with a 4,600mAh battery with a 240W fast charging solution.
Speaking about the camera department, the latest Realme GT 5 features a triple camera setup on the back and that is in the combination of a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary sensor that supports OIS and PDAF along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens and a 2-megapixel macro lens. The device features a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. It is also supporting an in-display fingerprint scanner for an additional layer of security.
Regarding the connectivity options, the device supports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth, GPS, USB Type C, and NFC. It is also supporting Hi-Res Audio, Dolby Atmos, and Whirlwind memory engine 2.0 which will enable you to run 76 apps in the background. The device is running on the Android 13 operating system with the Realme UI 4.0 out of the box.

The Realme GT 5 with 12GB + 256GB model costs 2,999 Yuan, a 16GB + 512GB variant having a price tag of 3,299 Yuan, and a 24GB + 1TB version is available for 3,799 Yuan. The device will be available from September 4 in the market of China.
