Realme is currently working on the next generation flagship smartphone series dubbed the Realme GT 8 series including the vanilla variant and the Pro variant. It is reported that the upcoming Realme GT 8 Pro will feature a square camera module and the same is placed at the top-left corner. The device is reported to feature a 50-megapixel main camera and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. The source did not mention about the third Camera sensor but it is expected to be a 50-megapixel ultra-wide snapper.
While this different tipster Smart Pikachu hints that the Chinese company will be collaborating with Ricoh for the upcoming Realme GT 8 Pro. The collaboration will enable you to access Ricoh’s signature “Negative Film” colour style and humanistic photography approach.
Speaking about the specifications, the upcoming Realme GT 8 Pro is tipped to feature a BOE-supplied 6.78-inch flat AMOLED display along with slim bezels on all four sides, 2K resolution, and an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor.
The device will be coming with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2/Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and a battery with a capacity just under 8,000mAh. It is expected to feature an x-axis linear motor, dual speakers, and the device will be running on Android 16 with Realme UI 6. Realme is expected to launch the smartphone series in October in China.
