After a lot of anticipations and teasers, Realme has finally launched their new wireless ecosystem, the MagDart. These MagDarts can perform various functions like wireless charging, fast wireless charging, external light for photography, etc. This is a direct competition to Apple’s MagSafe technology. So, what does the first attempt of any Android OEM looks like? Let’s find out.
Realme 50W MagDart Charger
The first and probably most exciting product of today is this 50W MagDart wireless charger. It’s the fastest wireless charger in the world as of now. It can charge a 4,500mAh battery under an hour. And of course, it’s way faster than iPhone’s MagSafe, which can only charge max at 15W. All you have to do is plug in the MagDart charger into power socket and place the phone on it. Yes, this sounds similar to any Qi wireless charging, but it’s different. In this one, the phone and charger connects through a magnetic coil which helps to provide 50W of speed. There’s a built-in fan for cooling of the MagDart charger and the phone as well. But let me tell you first, that this thing is not for portability and travel.
Realme 15W MagDart Charger
If you want something portable but not a very high speed, this 15W MagDart charger is for you. It’s way compact than the 50W charger, even slightly smaller than Apple’s MagSafe charger. It’s also thinner than MagSafe at just 3.9mm thin. But Realme claims that its faster than MagSafe because of its separated coil and board design. It can charge 4,500mAh battery in 90 minutes.
2-in-1 MagDart Power Bank
Another product for power sourcing is this power bank. But it’s a different kind of power bank. This 2-in-1 MagDart power bank actually acts like a stand, with power bank being a back support to the phone and the base will be there to support both. The power bank charges the phone, and the base actually charge the power bank. Maybe there will be speed difference between power bank and base charging. Realme didn’t mention any charging speed here.
Realme MagDart Beauty Light
There are other MagDart devices than power sourcing as well. And seeing today’s trend of making Tiktok, Reels, etc., this MagDart Beauty Light will come very handy. The MagDart once again, connects at the back with magnet, and a light can be popped out, face the front of the smartphone. So, users can get plenty of light for their reels, low light selfies, etc. But this one doesn’t have its own power source, so it will use phone’s battery for the usage.
Realme MagDart Wallet
As the name suggests, this is a compact wallet which can fit on your phone’s back and you can carry your cards along with your phone. It’s similar to MagSafe wallet. Here you can store 3 credit/debit cards. It also has a kickstand for hassle-free multimedia consumption, or just for placing the phone with screen facing to you.
Realme GT MagDart Case
MagDart is obviously not supported on every Realme device. But for Realme GT, the company will bring out this carbon fiber finish case which can make MagDart supported on the smartphone. It connects the phones through its Type-C port. Maybe Realme will launch cases for more phones in future. And in future we will also see Realme smartphones with built-in MagDart support like their concept phone, Realme Flash.
These are all the MagDarts by Realme. It’s nice to see a tier 2 brand took the step to bring these Mag accessories first on Android smartphones. How much good this is compared to Apple; time will tell. And how good the android users will adopt MagDarts? Again, time will tell. Now what are your thoughts on these MagDarts? Which one is your favorite? Let us know in the comment section below.
