Back in last year, the popular Chinese brand Oppo introduced to Realme as their sub-brand, and soon after its arrival Realme started to work as an independent of brand, but continued to borrow some resources from Oppo. Well, now it seems that Realme is all set to become a fully independent brand.
Chung Hsiang-wei, Chief Commercial Officer at Realme Taiwan said that the company is looking forward to setting up its own ecosystem as well as production lines and this suggests the company is all set to go away from Oppo and it is ready to become a fully independent smartphone brand. Well, I think it is a good decision because Realme is not developing products to match the Oppo’s lineup, as the company provides better and customize the user interface along with a more tech-centric as well as attractive designing setup.
Furthermore, he also said that the company is planning to enter into a new segment and it will launch wearable which will be true wireless earbuds. Well, that is already teased at the Realme X2 Pro India launch event and we will witness for the announcement of the company’s wireless earbuds at an event in December and that will happen in India. Finally, he also said that Oppo has 60% of female users while Realme has 60% of male users.
So, let’s wait for more information about the development in the coming days and we recommend you to stay tuned with us for the latest updates at your fingertips.
