Realme Promises Android 11 Beta for their Flagship Smartphone

Yesterday Google announced Android 11 Beta for Android phones. The rollout began with Pixel phones and the internet is exploring new features offered in the latest OS update. Since then, each OEM has been releasing information about their devices that should get Android 11 Beta update soon. The latest one in the line is Realme, who has now confirmed the update for their device.

It started with Francis Wang, CMO of Realme India teasing Android 11 Beta for their device. He did not disclose which device would get the update at the time. Now we have Madhav Sheth, CEO of Realme confirming the same. According to his tweet Realme will release the Android 11 Beta update for their flagship Realme X50 Pro.

Realme X50 Pro was one of the first 5G devices with SNapdragon 865 to release in India. It featured a 6.44 full HD+ super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. It also housed a 64 MP primary camera, a 12 MP telephoto camera with 5X optical hybrid zoom and two other cameras for ultrawide angle shots and monochrome pictures. It’s also one of the few devices that offer a 65W charger inside the box. Read more about Realme X50 Pro here.

With this development, we have got quite a few OEMs getting ready to roll out Android 11 Beta for their flagship models. The list contains Xiaomi who has promised the update for the Mi 10, Oppo who has teased the update for Find X2 Series and finally OnePlus teasing the same for the new OnePlus 8 Series. With more and more companies joining this time, we might be able to see more devices running the latest OS in no time. In this way, Android could get rid of the blame of not getting updates as its competition does.
