Realme celebrated their second anniversary with becoming the fourth largest brand of 2019 in India. Now Realme has achieved another milestone. The company has sold 1 Million Wireless Earphones powered y Bluetooth globally.
Considering the fact they have just revealed a handful of Wireless Earphones so far, this achievement is noteworthy. The company has launched Wireless Earphones like Realme Buds Wireless, which is a neckband and Realme Buds Air, which is True Wireless Earphone. The 1 Million shipments do not include the wired Realme Buds and Buds 2 sales numbers.
Talking about Realme Buds Air, the pair of TWS Earphones come with a price tag of INR 3,999 last year. It has some segment-first and unique features like Wear detection that enables users to play/pause music just by taking the buds out of the ear and wireless charging, which no other TWS Earphones under INR 5,000 posses.
It is rumoured that the company is launching two new TWS Earphones under the ‘Buds Air’ branding soon. One pair would be called Realme Buds Air Neo, which is a cheaper version of the successful Buds Air. The Buds Air Neo would have Micro USB port for charging and will lack wireless charging feature. Another pair of TWS Earphones teased is the Realme Buds Q which seems to be of in-ear type. Both earphones are expected to be launched on May 25 in China. Read more about the new products here.
