Realme X2 Debuts In India With Snapdragon 730G And Quad Cameras

As it was promised earlier, today Realme has launched the Redmi X2 smartphone in the market of India, the device was originally unveiled in China a couple of months ago. This is the same smartphone that teased as Realme XT 730G smartphone for a very long time and it comes with really cool features as well as design. Moreover, the smartphone also becomes the first 730G powered device to be launched under 20k in the market of India. That’s pretty impressive and Realme always does the same. Specifications of Realme X2

The smartphone sports a 6.4 inch full HD+ Super AMOLED display with 2340 X 1080 pixels resolution along with a waterdrop like notch on the top of the display, the device also offers a 91.9 percent screen ratio and the protection of Gorilla Glass 5. The device is powered by Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor and the device is paired with 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB of RAM, along with Adreno 616 GPU for the graphical task. In terms of storage, the device comes with 64GB and 128 GB of internal storage, the device also allows to expand the storage via MicroSD card.

Moving to the camera department, the new Realme X2 rocks quad rear camera setup and that’s in the combination of a 64 MP Samsung GW1 primary sensor with 0.8μm pixel size and f/1.8 aperture + 8 MP 119 degree ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.25 aperture, 1.12μm pixel size + 2 MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture, 1.75μm pixel size + 2 MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture, 1.75μm pixel size. There’s also a 32 MP sensor for the front camera with f/2.0 aperture and AI Beautification. For security, the company has implemented the in-display fingerprint scanner for the maximum layer of security.

Speaking about the software department, the device runs on Android 9 out-of-the-box with customized ColorOS 6. It also features the HyperBoost 2.0 for the enhancement in the performance of the smartphone. Furthermore, it also features the Digital Wellbeing and that’s to reduce the usage of the device.

Regarding the connectivity options, the Realme X2 supports Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, NFC, 3.5 mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port. Finally, the smartphone ships on the 4,000 mAh battery with 30W VOOC 4.0 fast charging support.

Pricing and availability

The 4 GB RAM variant is priced at ₹16,999, 6 GB RAM variant at ₹18,999 while the 8 GB RAM model costs ₹19,999. The device will go on sale from 20th December in India through Flipkart and the official website of the company.
