Realme X3 Camera, Processor and Price details Tipped

Ever since the lockdown, there have been multiple leaks about the upcoming Realme X3 Series. According to some leaks, there are two devices in the lineup waiting to launch – Realme X3 and X3 Pro. Let us take a look at the Realme X3 specs in this article and decide if it’s worth the hype.

Madhav Sheth recently confirmed the existence of Realme X3 on Twitter and in the process also hinted at one of the main highlights of the phone. He claimed that the Realme X3 would have a 60X Zoom levels. He tweeted that using a ‘Starry Mode’ on the Realme X3 would allow users to click pictures of the night sky and see stars if there are any. Other details leaked point to a 48 MP primary shooter and a telephoto lens along with two 2 MP cameras. It seems this 8 MP sensor would achieve the aforementioned 60X zoom. The other notable point here is the absence of an ultrawide angle lens, as the two 2 MP sensors facilitate depth measuring and macro respectively. The ultrawide camera has become a norm in all of the phones these days. As for the selfie, the Realme X3 will have a dual-camera setup of 16 MP and 2 MP inside a punch hole, which is the trend.

The screen is expected to be of the size 6.57″ and LCD type. In addition, the screen is supposed to have a refresh rate of 120 Hz, following a close rival from Poco. If you ask us, it is a disappointment that the successor lacks a distinguishing feature from Realme X2, which is an AMOLED screen. Regarding the processor, there are conflicting rumours. One leak point to the processor being the good old Snapdragon 855+ from Qualcomm while the other point to Dimensity 800 from Mediatek. Whichever choice Realme makes, one feature the phone will lack is 5G connectivity, but we cannot hold it against them, considering the price point.

If you are wondering what the price point would be. Realme X3 suggests expected to start from Rs. 21,999, with a minimum RAM of 6 GB and storage of 64 GB. But honestly, we think the storage especially is not enough considering the hinted price. The battery capacity should hover around 4,200 mAh mark give or take a few. And there will be a 30 Watt charger inside the box as well. Regarding the launch date, there is a high chance that the X3 Series will be debuted before June.
