After all the leaks, rumours, and teasers, Realme has launched its latest flagship smartphone called Realme X50 Pro and the device is launched in the global market as well as in India. The smartphone was actually expected to launch at the MWC 2020 event but due to the outbreak of the coronavirus, the event is cancelled, and the company opted for an online event to launch the device officially and with this move Realme succeed to launch the smartphone on the same day as it was planned. Having said that, the device also becomes the first 5G enabled smartphone to be launched in the market of India. Designing setup of the smartphone
Let’s start with the designing language of the new smartphone, it comes with very slim bezels around the display and offers a mate finish design at the back side of the smartphone. The device features a punch hole design on the top left corner of the display and that will house dual front camera and the rear camera setup is in the vertical orientation at the left corner. The device is coming in two colour choices in Mass Green and Rust Red.
Specifications of Realme X50 Pro 5G
It features a 6.44 full HD+ super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate as well as a 20:9 aspect ratio. It also supports DC dimming and offers a 92% screen to body ratio, it also has a 100% DCI P3 colour gamut. Regarding the connectivity options, the smartphone supports 5G SA + NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 6, Bluetooth 5.1, Dual Frequency GPS, Multi-functional NFC, and USB Type-C port. For security, the smartphone supports an in-display fingerprint scanner and face unlock. It also features Dual Linear Speaker, Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Audio.
Talking about the software department, the Realme X50 Pro 5G runs the latest Android 10 operating system out of the box with the new in-house Realme UI on top. The device ships a 4,200 mAh battery with 65W fast charging which can charge the device from 0 to 100 percent in just 35 minutes.
Pricing and availability
The 6 GB RAM variant is priced at ₹37,999, while the 8 GB RAM variant costs ₹39,999, and the 12 GB RAM variant is priced at ₹44,999. The device will go on sale in India from today onwards via Flipkart and Realme.com, at 6:00 PM.
