It might be a step from Redmi to prove that they are indeed offering some of the best devices in the mid-range segment. Let us look at some of the specifications officially teased by the company.
The phone is rumoured to be powered by Mediatek Dimensity 820. This Chipset is very powerful and stands above the current mid-range SoCs. This chipset is made for 5G phones, so we can confirm that the phone will indeed have 5G connectivity. One another exclusive feature the Redmi 10X will have is dual sim, dual standby, support on 5G. This feature is the first-ever on a smartphone and will help you use two 5G supported networks and switch between when you feel like.
Coming to the display, the phone will have an AMOLED display to boot. This will help produce inky blacks and punchy colours. As Xiaomi is working on MIUI 12 update with Always on Display that offer much more styles and improved Dark Mode 2.0, the Redmi 10X AMOLED display will support the features that come with the UI.
Redmi 10X is going to be launched on May 26 in China, along with other Redmi accessories. We are not sure if and when it will make it to India. But there are high chances that the Indian team headed by Manu Kumar Jain would be interested in bringing this model, albeit with some changes.
