The popular Chinese smartphone brand Redmi has officially introduced the Redmi 11 Prime and Redmi 11 Prime 5G in the market of India alongside the Redmi A1. The Redmi 11 Prime is coming with the same specifications as the recently launched Poco M5 but it is having a different rear design. While the 5G variant of the smartphone series is a rebranded Redmi Note 11E which is available in the market of China and it is worth mentioning that the device is also introduced in the name of the Redmi 10 5G in some regions.
Everything about Redmi 11 Prime series
Both devices are featuring a 6.58-inch LCD display along with 2408 x 1080 pixels resolution. It is also featuring a 90Hz refresh rate and the devices are also offering a dewdrop notch. Both devices are running on the Android 12 operating system with MIUI 13.
Speaking about the camera department, you will get a 50MP main camera along with a 2MP depth sensor. The 5G variant of the smartphone series is featuring a 5MP front facing camera and the 4G model is coming with a 2MP macro sensor as well on the back panel.
The Redmi 11 Prime is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 mobile processor along with while the 5G version is coming with a MediaTek Dimensity 700 mobile processor. The devices are coming with up to 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128 GB UFS 2.2 storage that can be expandable using a MicroSD card.
The smartphone series is also supporting a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for an additional layer of security along with an IR blaster and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The devices are coming with a massive 5,000mAh battery along with 18W fast charging support.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the Redmi 11 Prime with 4GB + 64GB storage option is having a price tag of ₹12,999 and 6GB + 128GB model is priced at ₹14,999. On the other hand, the Redmi 11 Prime 5G with 4GB + 64GB variant is coming with a price tag of ₹13,999 and 6GB + 128GB variant is having a price tag of ₹15,999. The Redmi 11 Prime 5G will be available from September 9 and there is no information about the availability of the 4G model. You can able to purchase the 5G version of the smartphone series from Mi.com, Amazon India, Mi Home stores, or retail stores.
