Redmi has officially introduced the new budget smartphone called the Redmi 12 in the market of Thailand and the device was recently listed on the official website of Xiaomi in Portugal. The newly announced Redmi 12 features a 6.79-inch LCD display with a punch-hole cutout at the centre position of the screen and an FHD+ resolution. It also features a 90Hz refresh rate and 550 nits peak brightness. The device features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for an additional layer of security.
Speaking about the camera department, the Redmi 12 features a triple rear camera setup and that includes a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. The device is also having an 8MP selfie camera.
The latest Redmi 12 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G88 processor along with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. It is housing a massive 5,000mAh battery along with 18W fast charging and it is running on Android 13 with MIUI 14 out of the box.
