Redmi has officially announced its new 5G smartphone in India under Rs 10000 and the phone is dubbed the Redmi 14C 5G. The device comes with a 120Hz refresh rate along with the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 mobile processor and a massive 5160mAh battery. Let’s start with the design, the Redmi 14C 5G features a flat design with rounded corners and a large circular camera module on the back. Coming to the specifications, the device features a 6.88-inch LCD display with an HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 600 nits of peak brightness, DC dimming, and TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light.
The device has the power of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 mobile processor along with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The Redmi 14C 5G runs on Android 14 with Xiaomi’s HyperOS custom skin out of the box.
Talking about the camera department, the device has a 50MP main camera along with a secondary sensor on the back. The device comes with an 8MP front facing camera. The phone also houses a massive 5,160mAh battery with 18W wired fast charging. The device also comes with a 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, IP52 splash and dust resistance, and Dual SIM support.
In terms of pricing and availability, the device comes with a price tag of Rs 9,999 for the 4GB + 64GB variant, while the 6GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB versions cost Rs 10,999 and Rs 11,999 respectively. The device will be available in the country from January 10 via Flipkart, Amazon, and even offline retail stores.
