The Redmi 17 5G has the power of the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset along with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. The device also supports NFC, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.1 among others for connectivity. While the 4G variant has the power of the Helio G91-Ultra mobile processor along with LPDDR4x RAM and eMMC 5.1 storage.
Both devices come with a 6.9-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate along with up to 825 nits of high brightness mode, and the display of both devices are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. The devices also feature TÜV Rheinland certifications for low blue light, flicker-free viewing, and circadian-friendly operation.
The devices house a 7,500mAh battery with 45W fast charging and 22.5W wired reverse charging. Speaking about the camera department, the devices come with a 50-megapixel AI dual rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The devices run HyperOS 3-based Android 16.
Both devices feature dual stereo speakers with up to 300% volume boost, an IP64-rated chassis, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, dual SIM support, a microSD card slot, and memory expansion of up to 12GB RAM.
