Xiaomi spin-off Redmi has launched a new smartphone in the market of Indonesia and the device is dubbed as Redmi 8A Pro which is actually a rebranded version of the Redmi 8A Dual and the same was launched in India back in February this year.

Specifications of Redmi 8A Pro
The smartphone features a 6.22 inch display with 1520 X 720 pixels resolution along with !9:9 aspect ratio, the device also comes with a waterdrop like notch on the top of the display. It is powered by a 1.45 GHz Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor and paired with 2/3GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the new Redmi smartphone supports 16/32GB of internal storage and that can be explained up to 512GB via microSD card.
Moving to the camera department, the Redmi 8A Pro rocks dual camera setup and that is in the combination of 13 megapixel primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture along with 2 megapixel lens with f/2.4 aperture, the device also comes with an 8 megapixel front facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. The phone also supports and Face Unlock along with the traditional security options, and the same has P2i coating to protect unwanted splashes.
Regarding the connectivity options, the smartphone supports 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth v4.20, Wireless FM Radio, VoWiFi, and USB Type-C. The Redmi 8A Pro runs Android 9.0 and the same ships on a 5000 mAh battery.
Pricing and availability
The 2GB variant is priced at IDR1,549,000, while the 3GB variant will have a price tag of IDR1,649,000, and the device will available in Indonesia via the official website of the company.
