Just a couple of days ago, Redmi launched its pocket-friendly smartphone in the market of India and the same called Redmi 9 and today it will be available in the country for the first time in the country. It comes with dual rear camera setup along with waterdrop like notch and coming with a good design.

Specifications of Redmi 9

It features a 6.53 inch HD+ display with the 1600 X 720 pixels resolution along with a waterdrop like notch on the top of the screen, it also comes with a 20:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the latest Redmi 9 is powered with the Helio G35 octa-core SoC. The smartphones matted with 4 GB of RAM and 64/128 GB internal storage. The smartphone also allow users to expand the storage via microSD card.

Moving to the camera department, the Redmi 9 rocks dual rear camera setup – 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth lens along with an LED flash. It also feature 5-megapixel front camera. The same also features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Regarding the connectivity options, the Redmi 9 supports dual SIM slot, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB Type-C, IR blaster and 3.5mm audio jack. It packed with 5,000 mAh battery and boots on Android 10 OS along with MIUI 11.

It is priced at ₹8,999 for the 64GB storage variant, while the 128GB storage option comes for ₹9,999. The smartphone will available through Amazon and Mi.com.
