As promised, Redmi has launched its new entry-level smartphone in the market of India and the same is dubbed as Redmi 9i, it is coming with pretty decent designing language along with the specifications which you could expect on an entry-level device. Having said that, it is the fourth device of the Redmi 9 series and the same joins the Redmi 9, Redmi 9A, and the Redmi 9 Prime. Specifications of Redmi 9i

The device is coming with a 6.53 inch HD+ display with 1600 X 720 pixels resolution along with a 19:5:9 aspect ratio and it also features a waterdrop like notch on the top of the screen. The device is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio G25 SoC and the same is matted with 4GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the device comes with 128 GB of internal storage and the same can be expandable upto 512 GB via MicroSD card.

Speaking about the camera department, the Redmi 9i features a single 13-megapixel camera on the back with f/2.2 aperture. On the front, the smartphone supports a 5-megapixel shooter. Unfortunately, the device doesn’t come with a fingerprint scanner which means you need to stick with the traditional security options.

Regarding the connectivity options, the smartphone supports VoWiFi, 4G, VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and a Micro-USB port. It runs on MIUI 12, based on Android 10 and the same ships 5,000mAh battery.

It is priced at ₹Rs. 8,299 for the 64GB storage variant while the 128GB storage variant is priced at ₹9,299. The phone will go on sale starting September 18 at 12pm (noon) via Flipkart, Mi.com, and Mi Home stores.
