Redmi is gearing up to launch the new Redmi A2 and the device will be an entry level smartphone. We recently came across a detailed report of the device which revealed the important specifications and more.
Now the upcoming Redmi A2 smartphone passes through the NBTC Certification before its official launch. It is confirming that the company is around the corner to launch the device as well.
It was previously reported that the upcoming Redmi A2 will look similar to the Redmi A1 smartphone and the same is having the same textured plastic back design. It is also coming with two cameras on the back and the device is having thick bezels around the screen as well as a thick chin. The device is also coming with a notch on the top of the screen. The power button and volume buttons are available on the right side of the device while the Micro-USB port and a 3.5mm audio jack at the bottom. The top side of the device is accommodating a speaker grille.
It is also reported that the device will be available in 3 colour options including Black, Blue, and Green.
The source is also revealing the pricing information of the smartphone for the European market and it is reported that the device will have a price tag around 97 Euros.
Coming to the specifications, the upcoming Redmi A2 is reported to be powered by the MediaTek Helio G36 mobile processor along with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage that can be expandable using a micro SD card.
It is also reported that the Redmi A2 will feature a 6.52-inch IPS LCD screen with an HD+ resolution. The device is reported to offer an 8MP primary camera and the same is capable to record videos up to 1080p along with a 2MP depth sensor. The device is also said to feature a 5MP front camera.
The upcoming Redmi A2 is expected to house a massive 5000mAh battery that supports 10W charging. It will also feature a single speaker and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It is said that the device will be running on the Android 13 (Go Edition). Regarding the activity options, the device will be supporting dual-SIM slot, Bluetooth 5.0, and 2.4Ghz WiFi.
