Redmi has officially introduced the new 5G smartphone in India called the Redmi A4 and it is one of the most affordable 5G enabled devices in the country. The Redmi A4 features a 6.88-inch LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate along with HD+ resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio, and up to 600 nits of peak brightness.
Under the hood, the device comes with the power of the Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 mobile processor along with 4GB of RAM and either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage that can be expandable up to 1TB with a microSD card slot.
The device houses a large 5,160mAh battery along with 18W wired fast charging. Speaking about the camera department, the Redmi A4 features a 50-megapixel primary camera along with a secondary sensor. The device also comes with a 5-megapixel front facing camera.
It also supports a side mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, FM Radio, and the device runs on Android 14 with Xiaomi HyperOS out of the box.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the latest Redmi A4 with 4GB + 64GB costs ₹8,499 while the 4GB + 128GB variant has a ₹9,499. The devices will be available from November 27 in the country through the official website and Amazon.
