Redmi K50 series has been confirmed to be official on February 16 and the upcoming smartphone series will include four devices- the Redmi K50, the K50 Pro, the K50 Pro+ and the K50 Gaming. Recently, we came across a report that suggested the gaming edition model will have an iconic designing language of Mercedes as the company will collaborate with the popular automobile maker. Well, the information has turned out true as the company officially confirmed that they have joined their hands with Redmi Mercedes-AMG F1 team.
The smartphone brand shared a poster on the Chinese microblogging website and that confirms the collaboration with the Mercedes-AMG F1 team. Based on the previous report, the upcoming special edition smartphone will be dubbed Redmi K50 Gaming Mercedes AMG Petronas Edition and the same will arrive with different colour set up and the upcoming special edition smartphone will feature the iconic colour pattern of the Mercedes F1 cars that includes a Grey coloured back panel with Black triangular designs around the mid-section. The company will implement the triangles on both sides of the device that will be lined with Cyan colour along with the RGB strip integrated within the camera module.
It will also feature two dark Grey racing stripes running vertically down the center of the back along with a Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team branding and the iconic Mercedes badge.
The company has already confirmed that the upcoming Redmi K50 Gaming Edition will feature a self-developed “IO Turbo” read and write engine and the same is designed by reconstructing the file read and write architecture.
The upcoming Redmi K50 Gaming Edition will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and it is also reported that the device will feature the AAC 1016 ultra-wideband X-axis motor, and it is actually the most powerful vibration motor.
It is also expected that the device will feature Gorilla Glass Victus along with dual VC liquid cooling set up. The device is also expected to house a 4,700mAh battery with 120W fast charging. The device is also believed to run on Android 12 out of the box and the same will also feature gaming shoulder trigger keys.
