Recently Xiaomi made their popular budget oriented ‘Redmi’ line-up a separate sub-brand. They are going to unveil the first smartphone under the Redmi moniker, Redmi Note 7 and Redmi 7. But a separate brand needs a separate logo to place a mark in the smartphone industry, or to get a separate identity. Now the company has it’s own identity.
Xiaomi’s Co-founder just unveiled the logo of Redmi brand. It’s a simple logo with Redmi by Xiaomi written in simple font. There’s a gradient colour in the background with combination of Purple and Pink. The logo resembles the theme of MIUI. So we are expecting that just like Poco F1, all upcoming Redmi smartphones will also have MIUI. With Redmi being an official brand along with a logo, Xiaomi has total four different brands for their smartphones which are listed below:
1. Mi: for premium flagship & high-end midrange smartphones.
2. Redmi: for entry level, budget, and mid-range smartphones.
3. BlackShark: for gaming smartphones.
4. Pocophone: budget flagship smartphones.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. Only few hours are left for the launch of first Redmi smartphone under the separate brand. That’s why we might not cover those few hour leaks, because a little suspense is always good. Stay tuned with us for tomorrow’s Redmi launch event and other information.
