Redmi gaming phone was making noise for the past couple of days and now the company has confirmed the name of the device Redmi K40 and its launch date. The company has also revealed some key specifications of the upcoming gaming smartphone as well. It is confirmed that the upcoming gaming smartphone will be dubbed as Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition and the company will make the smartphone official in the market of China on April 27. The Chinese smartphone brand has also shared a teaser photo on the Chinese microblogging website and it shows that the upcoming device will have gaming Shoulder buttons and the device will also have a vertically aligned rear camera setup and the same will glow maybe there is some RGB lighting available.
Apart from this, the company did not reveal any other information about the upcoming gaming smartphone Redmi K40 but it is believed that the device will offer a Samsung AMOLED E4 display with a punch-hole at the centre position of the screen along with up to 144Hz refresh rate.
The upcoming Redmi gaming smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset and the same will support 67W fast charging. The upcoming smartphone is also expected to feature a quad-camera system with a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 primary camera and it will run on the latest version of the Android Operating System out of the box. The device may cost around 2,000 Yuan.
