Redmi has officially introduced the first ever kids smartwatch dubbed the Redmi Kids Smartwatch and it is currently available in the markets of China. The device has a price tag of 499 Yuan and it will be available from March 24. So let’s check out the full specifications of the watch.

The latest Redmi Kids Smartwatch features a large 1.68-inch display with 360 x 390 pixels resolution and a pixel density of 315 PPI. The device also features a 5MP front camera along with the capability to monitor children in real time.
It also supports 4G connectivity along with nine-layer location tracking that combines GPS, Beidou, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, and AI positioning. The device comes with the capability of storing 90 days of location history and features safety zone settings with instant alerts.
The device comes with up to three days of battery life, along with long-lasting protection. The smartwatch is also designed with 20-meter water resistance. The Redmi Kids Smartwatch supports children’s WeChat, and also provides payment management features where parents can limit or disable usage. The device also comes with classroom modes and anti-addiction settings.
It comes with over 170 reliability tests passed, and the device has 4GB of internal storage along with the support for various educational apps ranging from stories and music to subjects like math, English, and logical thinking. The device features customizable watch faces, a K12 exercise system with multiple sports modes, and a robust privacy protection system with AES256 encryption for data security.
