The sub-brand of Xiaomi, Redmi who has now become an independent entity has announced that the company will launch Redmi Note 10 5G Series in China on May 26. It doesn’t stop there as the company has now teased a few important specifications that we could see on the smartphone via an official post on Weibo, which is a Chinese microblogging website.
Redmi shared a couple of teasers that turned heads and we believe these could be the specifications of the maxed-out Redmi Note 10 5G smartphone in the lineup. Earlier rumours suggested that the smartphone might be called Redmi Note 10 Pro+ 5G but now we know for sure that it will be called Redmi Note 10 Ultra 5G.
In the teaser, Redmi has managed to keep the naming scheme suspense as it says Redmi Note 20 Series throughout. The smartphone is teased to have a powerful flagship chipset and the rumours suggest this to be the MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC. In addition, the company has revealed that it will feature UFS 3.1 storage which is a first for the Redmi Note Series.
Redmi has announced that up to 8 mainstream games will support 90FPS gameplay on the smartphone. To ensure a smooth and continuous gaming experience the company will include a ‘quadruple cooling system’, which means the Redmi Note 10 5G Series will have cooling aided by VC (Vapour Chamber), graphite, thermally conductive gel, and copper. Together it will offer a heat dissipation area of 16370mm².
Finally, we have the official first look of the Redmi Note 10 Ultra 5G which resembles the Mi 11 Lei Jun Signature Edition which weighs just 193 grams. As there is less than a week for the official unveiling of the smartphone, we recommend you to stay tuned to catch up on the event at the earliest.
