Redmi has officially announced that the upcoming Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus on August 21 in the markets of China and today the company has officially confirmed some important specification details of the device. So let’s get into the article to check out the new piece of information.
It is officially announced that the upcoming Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus smartphone will feature a full-depth micro-curved screen with a large R-angle design. The device will feature a 6.83 inch display along with a 1.5K resolution and the company says that the device will come with a “super sunlight screen” for better outdoor visibility.
The device is also confirmed to feature a peak brightness of 3200 nits and the device will come with the Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass for protection. The device is also said to be the first in the industry to feature IP66, IP68, and IP69K ratings simultaneously, along with passing the industry’s first five-star waterproof quality certification.
It is worth mentioning that the new IP69K standard will enable the device to withstand high-pressure, high-temperature water jets — up to 100 bar at 80°C. The device will come with a huge 7,000mAh Xiaomi Jinshajiang battery along with a long lifecycle of 1,600 charge cycles, which should last up to five years. The device will support 90W wired fast charging along with 22.5W reverse charging.
The upcoming device will come with the power of the new Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 mobile processor along with up to 16GB of RAM. The device is also said to feature satellite communication feature and it is happening for the first time in the Note series. The device will support Beidou short messages for sending and receiving texts using satellite communication.
