Redmi has finally confirmed the official launch date of the new Redmi Note 15 Pro and Note 15 Pro Plus devices for the markets of India. The company has officially announced that the latest Redmi Note 15 Pro series will be launching in the country on January 29. We already know the specifications of the device and the Indian variant details were leaked online as well.
It was recently reported that the upcoming Redmi Note 15 Pro smartphone will be coming with a 6.83-inch flat AMOLED display along with 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support, Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for protection, and up to 1,800 nits of peak brightness.
The device is also said to come with the power of the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra mobile processor and it will be running on Android 15 with HyperOS 2. It is reported that the device will be available with 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage.
In terms of the camera department, the upcoming Redmi Note 15 Pro is reported to come with a 200MP Samsung HPE primary sensor with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and an 8MP ultra wide angle lens. The device will also feature a 20MP shooter for selfies and video calls. The source says that the device will come with a massive 6,580mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging.
The device will also come with features like dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, an IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K rating for water and dust resistance, and SGS 5 Star, TÜV SÜD, and TÜV Rheinland Triple Eye Protection.
On the other hand, the upcoming Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus will be coming with a 6.83-inch quad-curved AMOLED screen with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh along with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support. The display will be protected by the Gorilla Glass Victus 2. It will come with the power of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 SoC and the device will run on Android 15 with HyperOS 2 custom skin out of the box.
The device is said to come with a 200MP Samsung HPE primary sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra wide angle lens. It will feature a 32MP shooter on the front. You will be getting a large 6,500mAh battery pack with support for 100W wired fast charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging. The remaining features will be the same as the small brother.
