The company has confirmed that the upcoming Redmi Note 17 smartphone will come with the largest OLED display ever seen on a Redmi smartphone, as the device will feature a 7 inch display along with a 120Hz refresh rate, reaches up to 1200 nits of global brightness, and the device also comes with Xiaomi’s eye protection technology.
It is also revealed that the device will be available in Meteor Purple colour option and the same features a distinctive streak-inspired finish on the rear panel. The device will be coming with a flat design with a plastic frame, while the rear camera module features a layout similar to the Pro model but with a different camera arrangement.
Redmi has also revealed that the upcoming Redmi Note 17 will house a large 8000mAh battery and it is also confirmed that the upcoming smartphone series will be offering improved drop resistance and water protection.
