Redmi Note 7 Spotted On Geekbench With Snapdragon 660

Recently we got to know that Xiaomi has made their Redmi line-up a separate sub-brand. Along with that company also teased the launch if a new Redmi smartphone in China on January 10th, which will be the first smartphone under the Redmi Brand. So today we have a new leak of that device which will be called as ‘Redmi Note 7’.

The successor of most selling Redmi series, or even Xiaomi series is spotted on Geekbench. Starting with the processor, this Redmi Note 7 will have Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 processor. Though it’s still a very powerful processor, but considering it’s a 2017 chipset and Redmi Note 7 is a 2019 smartphone, it should either have Snapdragon 670 or 675 processor. Moving to other specs, this Redmi Note 7 will be the first Redmi and second Xiaomi smartphone to come with Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. It has 6GB of RAM so I guess this spotted variant is the higher-end variant. But who knows, maybe it might have 8GB RAM option as well. Talking about benchmark scores, it scored 1462 on single core and 4556 on multi core.

So that’s all the information we have as of now. Apart from the fact that it has a 2017 processor (which is still very powerful), this Redmi Note 7 looks promising in terms of specs sheet. It will have latest Android version, good amount of RAM, and whopping 48MP Rear Camera according to the previous teaser.

Now, what are your thoughts on this leak? And what are your expectations from the Redmi Note line-up in 2019? Let us know in the comment section below. Also stay tuned with us for more information.
