Redmi Note 7S Unveiled With 48-Megapixel Camera

As it was promised, Xiaomi unveiled a new device in the market of India and it is called Redmi Note 7S. The device is identical to the Redmi Note 7 which was unveiled in China. The device is coming with a 48-megapixel camera and it will be available through online as well as offline stores. Specification of Redmi Note 7S

The Redmi Note 7S sports 6.3 inch full HD+ display and has 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution along with 19:5:9 aspect ratio and the device is coming with a waterdrop like notch on the top of the display. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 660 chipset and the device is paired with 3 GB and 4 GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the device has two storage variants – you will get 3 GB RAM with 32 GB of storage and 4 GB RAM with 64 GB of internal storage and that can be expandable via microSD card.

The main highlight of the Redmi Note 7S is its camera department, the device is coming with the dual camera set up at the back and that is in the combination of 48 megapixel + 5 megapixel with PDAF, EIS, and AI Portrait Mode. The device also has a 13 megapixel front facing camera for the selfies and video calls. The device also comes with the fingerprint scanner as well as face unlock feature to give the additional layer of security to the users. Having said that, the device rocks USB Type-C port but it didn’t get rid of the 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Regarding the connectivity options, the device supports 4G VoLTE, GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, USB Type-C port, and 3.5 mm headphone jack. The device runs on MIUI 10 which is based on Android 9.0 and ships on 4,000 mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0 fast charging technology.

Pricing and availability

The 3GB RAM variant is priced at ₹10,999, while the 4GB RAM variant will have the price tag of ₹12,999. The smartphone will be available through Flipkart,, and Mi Home stores from May 23. It will also go on sale through Mi Studio and Xiaomi partner retail stores in the future.
