Before the official announcement, Redmi has officially revealed the important specifications of the upcoming Redmi Pad 2 SE and the tablet will be launched along with the Redmi K90 Max, Redmi K Pad 2, Redmi Pad 2 SE 4G, Redmi Book Pro (2026) in 14-inch and 16-inch variants, and the Redmi Buds 8 TWS earbuds in China in the next couple of hours of time.
The upcoming Redmi Pad 2 SE is confirmed to feature a 9.7-inch LCD display offering a 2K resolution along with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 600nits brightness as well as TÜV Rheinland certifications for low blue light, flicker-free viewing, and circadian-friendly usage.
It has the power of the Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 processor along with LPDDR4X RAM, UFS 2.2 storage, and a microSD card slot for additional storage. It runs on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 which is based on the Android 16 OS.
The device houses a 7,600mAh battery with up to 18W charging along with a 3.5mm audio jack and stereo speakers with Hi-Res Audio and Dolby Atmos support. The device has an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera. The device supports Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, and dual SIM 4G support. It also features a metal unibody design and has a slim profile.
It is also revealed that the device has a price tag of CNY 1,099 for the 6GB+128GB variant, and it comes in Dark Grey and Silver shades.
