The latest Redmi Turbo 5 is the first phone to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 850 mobile processor along with chip. Built on a 4nm process, the chip is paired with 16GB LPDDR5 memory and 512 GB UFS 4.1 storage. The device comes with the 3D ice-sealed circulating cold pump cooling system along with a new “Rampage Engine” to better tune CPU, GPU, and even DDR frequencies for more stable performance during heavy use.
Redmi has introduced the device with a large 7,560mAh battery along with 100W wired and 27W wireless charging. The device features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate along with M10 luminescent material and capable of reaching a peak brightness of 3,500 nits. The device also supports Xiaomi’s eye protection features that will be reducing eye strain during long viewing sessions.
It comes with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K water and dust resistance. The device also supports kilometer-level wireless connectivity, along with improved Apple device compatibility, and support for file transfer and notification sharing across platforms.
