It has a price tag of 349 yuan and the device is available in China. The device comes with a 1.85-inch square AMOLED display with 390 x 450 pixels resolution along with a local peak brightness of 1,200 nits and a color always-on display (AOD) option.
Redmi has introduced the Redmi Watch 6 Active with a flat-edged middle frame and it has a single button on the side. The display is covered by 2.5D curved glass along with multiple watch faces. The device uses a quick-release mechanism for its straps and it is available in silver, pink-orange, and a darker black or gray colour options.

It also comes with the support of QR-code offline payments for WeChat Pay and Alipay. The device comes with more than 140 different exercises, with automatic detection for a few common workouts. The device supports heart rate, blood oxygen levels, sleep, and stress, and it can send alerts if it detects abnormal heart rates or low blood oxygen.
Apart from the markets of China, the device is available in major global markets. It is currently available for PHP 2,599 in the Philippines and the device is available in the US via Amazon.
