Along with the much awaited Redmi K-series, the company has unveiled its first laptop and the device is dubbed as the RedmiBook 14. The laptop is currently limited to the market of China, but we expect that the company will launch it in India very soon. So, let’s check out the complete specification details of the device.
Specifications of RedmiBook 14
It sports 14-inch display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, and has a 16:9 aspect ratio along with 178° wide viewing angle, as well as 250 nits brightness. It also offers an 81.2% screen to body ratio. The first laptop of the company is powered by the 8th generation Intel Core i5/i7 processor, and paired with 8 GB RAM. In terms of storage option, the device comes with 256 GB or 512 GB SATA SSD storage.
Moving to the graphics department, the all new RedmiBook 14 comes with 2 GB NVIDIA GeForce MX 250 GPU. Talking about the connectivity options, it supports Wi-Fi 802.11ac 2×2 (2.4GHz and 5GHz) and Bluetooth 5.0, two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 2.0 port, and one HDMI port. Furthermore, the device also comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack, Realtek ALC256M, two 1.5W speakers, and DTS audio. The laptop runs Windows 10 operating system.
Lastly, the laptop packs on a 46W battery with fast charging support. And the company claims that the battery will offer a battery life of up to 10 hours.
Pricing and availability
The Core i5 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage variant is priced at 3,999 yuan while the 512 GB storage variant will be yours for 4,299 yuan. And the Core i7 model with 8 GB RAM and 512 GB storage is having the price tag of 4,999 yuan. It will be available for purchase in China from 1st June.
