From sometime we hearing about the DTH service from the Reliance Jio, and now today we got leaks of set-top box of Jio.
Reliance jio is working on DTH service which we have reported previously, and today we have got first glimpse of the set-top box of the Jio. The image which has leaked reveals the shape of the set-top box, it is round in shape. And can be apparently connected to the Jio Dish TV as well as the Jio fibre. Also in the image we can able to see remote control which would be used to control the set-box.
According to the source, the Reliance Jio set-top box has an S/PDIF (Sony/Philips Digital Interface Format) port, an Ethernet port, HDMI port and a USB port. There is no official word about this from the company, but the source also says that the company is in the final stage of testing and they could be launch in March or April.
