As the CES 2018 is coming near day by day, many brands are ready with there new phone to showcase at the event. & As the device are ready to launch, leaks of these devices are increasing day by day. One of them is Sony. Sony is expected to launch their new mid-range and high-end smartphones at the event. Now today we got some leaked images of 2 upcoming Sony smartphones. So let’s have a look at them.
These two smartphones are Xperia XA2 and Xperia XA2 Ultra. As you can see from the images around, you will notice that both phones have a metal body which looks pretty solid. But this solid built comes with a lot of thickness as well i.e. 9.6mm. The device is looking extremely thick as compared to even most of the smartphones launched 2-3 years back. The fingerprint sensor is shifted to the back instead of power button, which Sony used to apply till now. Also both phones have a single rear camera instead of a dual camera setup. One of the device i.e. Xperia XA2 Ultra, is a high-end smartphone, so in 2018 we are expecting to get dual camera setup at least in high end phones.
The Xperia XA2 is expected to come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 630 processor with Adreno 508 GPU inside. It might sport 5” or 5.2” Full HD display. It will have 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage. The Rear Camera will be a 21MP shooter and Front Camera an 8MP shooter. It will have USB Type C port, fast charging and NFC support. This phone will run on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.
Talking about Xperia XA2 Ultra, this phone will come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 processor with Adreno 540 GPU inside. It will sport 6” Full HD display but with older 16:9 aspect ratio. It will have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The Rear Camera will be a 21MP shooter whereas on the front there would be 15MP shooter. It should also have other features like USB Type C port, fast charging and NFC support. Also it will run on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. Personally speaking, I am not sure whether these phones will give an impact on the consumers or not?
