The South Korean electronics giant Samsung experimented various stuff on smartphones but never tried with a pop-up camera module but now it seems that the company has done with it and very close to announcing a smartphone with that setup. Well, a couple of months back we heard about a smartphone that is under development and now the renders of the same appear online and that offers a perfect idea of the device ahead of the official announcement.
Going through the renders of the upcoming Samsung smartphone, we can see the curved display and it is expected to feature a 6.5-inch screen. The source also tips that there could be an IR blaster at the top of the device, the smartphone will also offer a USB Type-C port at the bottom along with a noise-canceling mic which will place at the right and the speaker grille at the left side. Sadly, there’s no 3.5 mm headphone jack and that will definitely break the hearts of many users.
The highlighting factor of the smartphone is the pop-up camera setup and the company implementing a single camera for the selfies and video calls and that will pop-up each and every time when the user demands. It is worth mentioning that, this is the first smartphone of Samsung which comes with a pop-up camera module.
Moreover, the renders also confirm that the upcoming Samsung device will come with triple rear camera setup and that is placed in a vertical orientation at the top left corner. Apart from the camera sensors, the smartphone also accommodates a fingerprint scanner at the backside.
So, that’s all the information we have at this moment of time. But we believe that the company will make an announcement of the same after the lockdown period, as the entire world is going through a strong fight against the deadly coronavirus, and once the world beats and wins over the disease the company will announce it officially in a grand event.
