In the last 2 years BBK’s sub-brand Vivo’s sub-brand IQOO (sub-brand of sub-brand) has evolved decently and gets a very small but good user base. Recently it’s IQOO 7 smartphone was considered as best smartphone around INR 30K price by many reviewers.
A tipster from China claims that IQOO might separate from Vivo next year. He said that the brand will cut-off in the 2nd half of 2022. Still it won’t be an independent brand because now it will be directly connected to BBK Electronics.
This will make IQQO a sister brand to Vivo, Oppo, Realme, and OnePlus. Though users won’t notice any direct effect with this, we ‘might’ expect slightly different UI for IQOO phones. Tipster also shared the names of upcoming IQOO devices launching this year.
