The South Korean electronics giant Samsung is gearing up to host an event on February 9 where the company will unveil the highly-anticipated Samsung Galaxy S22 series alongside the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series. Before the official announcement of the upcoming devices, the company has added fuel to the fire of the excitement by starting “Tiger in the City” campaign. The company has installed a massive display and that brings a giant 3D tiger and that is to promote its upcoming event. It is worth mentioning that the display does not reveal any information about the upcoming devices.

Samsung Galaxy S22 series
The upcoming smartphones series is expected to include three devices that including Samsung Galaxy S22, S22 Plus, and S22 Ultra. The upcoming devices will be powered by the latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset or the company’s own Exynos 2200 processor, depending on the region.
It is believed that the vanilla variant of the upcoming Galaxy S22 series is expected to feature a 6.06-inch display along with a peak brightness of 1000nits while the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus and the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra models will have the highest brightness on phones, offering 1750nits brightness and contrast ratios of 3,000,000:1.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus as well as the Galaxy S22 Ultra will support S Pen and the upcoming Ultra model will also feature a new 45W fast charging support. The devices will also run on Android 12 out of the box.
It is also believed that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Unpacked flagship smartphone series will provide an amazing camera setup and the Ultra variant will offer super cool zooming capability. The smartphone series will also feature an in-display fingerprint scanner for the additional layer of security.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series
It was reported that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 features an 11 inch display with 2800 X 1752 pixels resolution while the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Plus features a 12.2 inch display with 2560 X 1600 pixels resolution and both the devices will be available in silver along with rose gold and grey colour options. It is also revealed that the vanilla variant will have 8000 mAh battery while the Plus variant will feature 10,000mAh battery.
Speaking about the Ultra variant of the tablet series, it will feature a display with notch which will accommodate a pair of front facing cameras and the display will offer 2960 X 1848 pixels resolution along with the 11,200 mAh battery. It is worth mentioning that the Ultra variant of the tablet series will be available in grey colour option only.
The shopping website confirms that all the devices of the series will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 mobile processor and the devices will run on Android 12 out of the box.
The upcoming Samsung tablet series will also support the S Pen and the back panel of the devices will feature a compartment to accommodate the S Pen for charging. All the devices will feature a 13 megapixel dual camera setup.
