Samsung Confirms Upcoming Smartwatch Will Be Named As Galaxy Watch

Early in this month, we updated that the South Korean electronics giant Samsung may rebrand it’s wearable as Galaxy Watch. Well, today the company has confirmed the new name of the upcoming Samsung smartwatch as the Galaxy Watch. That said, the company accidentally listed the device on the official website.

Samsung has removed the listing very quickly but thanks to the screenshot which confirms the name, design as well as the colour set up of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch. The screenshot reveals that the upcoming wearable of Samsung will come in rose gold colour variant and it is listed with the model number SM-R810NZDAXAR.

Having said that, the new Galaxy Watch will run on the Android Wear OS, and this is the first time Samsung using Android Wear operating system as till now the company used its own Tizen OS. So, that’s all the information we have at this moment. Well, it is expected that the company will be unveiled on August 9 along with the much awaited Galaxy Note 9.
