It was recently reported that the South Korean electronics joint Samsung is cheating and the moon photos are fake that are captured using the latest Samsung flagship smartphone.
Now the company has responded to the issue and clarified that the device is not applying any image overlaying but the same is optimising the photo using artificial intelligence based scene optimization technology. It recognizes the moon as the primary subject and takes multiple shots for multi-frame composition. It will then enhance the details of the image quality and colors to provide the best result to the customers who take the image using the latest Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphone.
It is also said that the device enables users to deactivate the AI-based Scene Optimizer. The company has also said that the latest Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra is having the power of AI/ML (neural network trained on 100s of images of the moon) to recover/add the texture of the moon on the images of moon which you captured using the device.
