The South Korean electronics giant Samsung has unveiled its latest mobile chipset and that is Samsung Exynos 1080, it is actually the successor of Exynos 980 processor and the latest processor is the first 5nm chipset. The latest mobile chipset of the South Korean electronics brand is built on the 5nm EUV FinFET technology and the same comes with its integrated 5G modem.
Its coming with an octa-core CPU along with triple cluster design and the same offers four Cortex-A78 cores and four Cortex-A55 units. The latest mobile processor is coming with Mali-G78 MP10 GPU for the graphical task.
The 5G integrated modem supports both Sub-6GHz and mmWave standards, and it is capable to provide Cat.18 LTE downlink and uplink. The mobile chipset also supports Bluetooth 5.2, all the Wi-Fi bands, and FM Radio.
For the photography department, the latest Samsung Exynos 1080 supports support up to 200MP single camera or dual 32MP + 32MP sensors and videos go up to 4K@60fps.
It is also coming with the latest LPDDR4x and LPDDR5 RAM as well as UFS 3.1 storage. It can feature WQHD+ displays of up to 90Hz refresh rate, or Full HD+ panels at up to 144Hz refresh rate.
