The South Korean electronics giant Samsung has announced its new mobile chipset and the same is called Exynos 880 which is coming with 5G connectivity and the same is also a cheaper version of its current Exynos 990 processor. Samsung will utilize the new processor for mid-range smartphones.

The newly unveiled Samsung chip is based on an 8-nanometer (8nm) FinFET process technology and the same comes with two high performing ARM Cortex-A77 cores which is clocked at 2GHz and six efficient Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.8GHz, along with ARM Mali-G76 MP5 GPU.
Speaking about the camera department, the new Samsung Exynos 880 processor can able to feature a triple camera setup and the same is capable to offer up to 64 megapixel single camera and a 20 Megapixel for each sensor in the dual camera set up, the camera supports 4K 30fps video recording as well.
Regarding the connectivity options, it comes with 5G which supports E-UTRA-NR Dual Connectivity (EN-DC), along with 2CC LTE and 5G connectivity. It also features a multi-mode modem and the same is backed major networks from 2G to 4G LTE. Moreover, it also supports Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, FM Radio, GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, and Galileo.
