Reports from Indo-Asian News Service (IANS) claim that Samsung is getting ready to launch Galaxy A31 in the country. According to the sources the smartphone is expected to be priced around INR 23,000 ($300) Let us take a look at what we are getting for the price of Rs 23,000.
The smartphone will feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED Infinity-U Display. The resolution would be locked at Full HD. It also comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner on the bottom half of the screen for added security through biometric authentication. The smartphone is likely to be powered by the Helio P65, Octa-core Chipset, from Mediatek.
In terms of optics, Galaxy A31 will have five cameras in total. A 20 MP selfie snapper in the front. A quad-camera setup on the back with 48 MP Primary sensor, followed by an 8 MP ultrawide camera. The other two sensors will be of 5 MP resolution each to be used for depth sensing and macro shots. The software will be based on Android 10, and it will have One UI 2.0 right out of the box.
The memory configurations start with 4GB RAM and 64 GB or 128 GB of storage and 6GB of RAM with 128 GB of storage. There will be a dedicated MicroSD card slot for expansion of up to 256 GB. as for the battery. There will be a reasonably sized 5,000 mAh battery that can be charged via a USB Type-C port and a 15 Watt adapter inside the box for charging.
The smartphone made its debut in the global markets in March, and it would be launched in India on the first week of June. The smartphone would be available online as well as offline retail channels in the country.
