Samsung launched Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) in India, the company had unveiled the Samsung A (2017) series at the CES 2017 event The device comes with metal body with 3D glass back, and also has water and dust resistant.
The device comes with 5.2 inch HD display, with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by 1.9 GHz Exynos 7880 octa core processor and paired with 3 GB RAM. it has 32 GB internal storage and can be expandable upto 256 GB via microSD card.
It has 16 MP rear camera with LED flash, and there is a 16 MP front facing camera. The device also supports fingerprint scanner which is embedded on the home button and has Type-C USB port, it supports dual SIM cards with 4G LTE and VoLTE connectivity. It runs on Android Marshmallow v6.0 and the device is backed on 3000 mAh battery.
