The South Korean electronics giant Samsung has finally launched the new Samsung Galaxy Book 6 Series in the markets of India. The laptop series includes the Samsung Galaxy Book 6 Ultra, Galaxy Book 6 Pro, and Galaxy Book 6. The devices come with AMOLED displays along with RTX 5070, and Galaxy AI features. The devices also come with a new design and the company has used the Intel Core Ultra processors. The latest Samsung laptop series comes with a redesigned chassis along with the updated internal layout and the laptop series also features a wider vapor chamber, thinner fans, and a revised hinge system. Both the Samsung Galaxy Book 6 Ultra and the Samsung Galaxy Book 6 Pro feature a 16-inch display and the laptop series features a two-tone backlit keyboard. The Ultra and Pro also come with a haptic touchpad, while the standard Galaxy Book 6 uses a clickpad.
Samsung has introduced the Samsung Galaxy Book 6 Ultra with a 16-inch touch AMOLED panel with WQXGA+ resolution and peak brightness up to 1000 nits. The Galaxy Book 6 Pro is launched with 14-inch and 16-inch touch AMOLED displays with anti-reflective coating. The vanilla variant features IPS panels with a WUXGA resolution and 350 nits brightness. The AMOLED models of the laptop series supports adaptive refresh rates from 30Hz to 120Hz, Vision Booster, True Bright certification, and low black levels. The devices also come with Gorilla Glass with DXC.
The devices also come with the power of the Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors under the Intel Evo platform including Core Ultra 5, 7, and X7 variants, with up to 16 CPU cores. The devices also support an Intel NPU delivering up to 50 TOPS for AI workloads. The latest Samsung Galaxy Book 6 Ultra also comes with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU with 8GB GDDR7 memory while the Pro models come with Intel Arc or integrated graphics, and the Samsung standard Book 6 features Intel Graphics.
Samsung has introduced the latest Samsung Galaxy Book 6 Ultra with 32GB LPDDR5X RAM and a 1TB PCIe SSD and it also comes with expansion support. While the Pro models offer 16GB or 32GB LPDDR5X RAM with 512GB or 1TB SSD options, with expansion support on the 16-inch model. The vanilla variant features 16GB or 32GB RAM with 512GB or 1TB SSD, and the expansion is supported on the 14-inch model.
The Ultra variant houses 80.2Wh battery with 100W USB Type-C charging on the integrated model and 140W on the discrete GPU version. The Pro models feature include 67.18Wh for the 14-inch and 78.07Wh for the 16-inch, both with 65W charging. The vanilla variant also comes with a 61.2Wh battery with 45W charging. The devices run on Windows 11 out of the box.
You will be getting a six-speaker system with Dolby Atmos on the Ultra variant, using four woofers and two tweeters while the Pro variant with 16-inch display uses quad speakers, and the 14-inch model uses stereo speakers. The vanilla variant comes with stereo speakers. The laptop series also supports dual-array microphones and a 2MP 1080p webcam.
Samsung offers Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 on the Ultra and Pro models, while the vanilla variant supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4. The Ultra and Pro also support two Thunderbolt 4 ports, one USB Type-A port, HDMI 2.1 with support for 8K at 60Hz and 5K at 120Hz, a microSD slot, and a headphone and microphone combo jack. The vanilla variant supports two USB Type-C ports, two USB Type-A ports, HDMI, microSD, RJ45, and a security lock slot. The laptops also support Samsung Knox security along with secured-core PC support.
The devices also come with Galaxy AI features such as AI Select, AI Cut Out, Note Assist, and Natural Language Search. Cross-device features include Multi Control, Second Screen, Link to Windows, and Storage Share.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the Samsung Galaxy Book 6 series is available in Gray and Silver colour options. The devices will be available through Samsung’s official website, retail stores, and authorized partners.
